Employee Spotlight: Nicole Weston

Nicole joined Extreme Coating Solutions in May 2024. Her title is Bookkeeper, but don’t let that fool you. She wears so many hats for us. In addition to bookkeeping and accounting, she does customer support and many other things to keep us moving in the right direction.

She is learning a TON about the commercial coatings industry. She already knew QuickBooks and Microsoft Teams, but there are so many other systems she is learning! These include RoboForm for password management and ShareFile for document sharing and organization.

We asked her what was something that surprised her in her new role. She said, “I never realized I would actually use geometry in my job until I started at ECS.” Geometry is important for calculating pricing based on the dimensions of various parts that are going to be coated.

When she is not working at ECS, she loves to oversee her homestead which includes caring for plants and animals and doing home schooling with her kids. She has an interesting taste in movies from Comedies to Horror. She is also a foodie who loves to cook. She is a vegetarian, so she has to get creative with her recipes. A crowd favorite is her Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls (the steak is actually mushrooms and walnuts!)
